WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (AP) _ Officials say one person is dead following a fire at an RV campground in central Florida.
The Ledger reports Polk County Fire Rescue was called to the Cypress Campground & RV Park in Winter Haven around 3:13 a.m. Tuesday after someone saw smoke.
The fire was put out within 15 minutes and crews found the body inside the camper.
Fire officials say the blaze appears to have started in the camper’s living room and foul play is not suspected.
The name of the victim hasn’t been released.
An investigation is continuing.
