Missing

Officials are asking for the public’s help in locating two juveniles who allegedly ran away together after making plans for more than a week, police said.

Yesterday, 15-year-old Angel Santiago Munoz was reported as a runaway to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. Thirteen-year-old Layla Soleil Fernandez was reported as a runaway to the Winter Haven Police Department.

Cell phones belonging to both teens were found at Munoz’s home. Parents of the teens reviewed information on both phones and located text messages that uncovered the plan for the pair to runaway. Munoz is a white male, 5’7″, 190 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes (unknown clothing description).

Fernandez is a white female, 5’0″, weighing 110 pounds with long blond hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black “v neck” shirt and black/white zigzag Jeggins (tight form-fitting elastic pants).

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of these teens is asked to call Winter Haven Police Detective Rod Esteve at 863-401-2256 or 863-291-5620.
