Windows 9 To Be Leaked Tuesday, Released In April 2015

Microsoft is expected to leak some of Windows 9’s features on Tuesday at a media event. Microsoft has sent out invitations to an event Tuesday and is calling it a ‘technical preview’ and a follow up to Windows 8.

The upgrade itself is expected to hit the market in April 2015, according to Tech Advisor. Also rumored, is the fact that current Windows 8 users will get a free upgrade.

As well as the fancy new OS for Windows, there is an expected Windows 9 Phone in the works.

From Tech Advisor:

We expect Windows 9 to launch in PCs, laptops, tablets and phones that you can buy in April 2015 but Microsoft is likely to show it off – to some extent – on 30 September as it has now sent out invites to an event where it will outline ‘what’s next for Winodws and the enterprise’. Microsoft will reportedly show off a ‘Windows Technical Preview’ and we expect that availability for the Windows 9 beta will be announced.

Some of Windows 9’s features can be seen in the video below.
