Will Charlie Hebdo Attack Silence a Free Press?

Charlie Hebdo Attack in Paris: An Attack on Free Speech and Free Press

One of the great things we take pride in here in America, as well as much of the Western world, is the right to having free speech and subsequently, a free press. The attack in Paris this week on satirical news outlet Charlie Hebdo may threaten that. The paper was known for publishing cartoon images of Prophet Muhammad. My co-host Chris Markowski and I discussed that this week when the news first broke.

Your Wake Up Call with Chris Markowski and Jenna Laine airs Monday through Friday from 6 to 9 a.m. on AM 820 News in Tampa Bay and AM 1190 News in Orlando.
