UN Needs $1 Billion to fight Ebola

More than $1 Billion is needed to fight the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. That’s a ten-fold increase in the past month. That’s the word from the U.N.’s Ebola coordinator, David Nabarro, made the announcement as the World Health Organization described the health crisis as “‘unparalleled in modern times”.

Ebola has already killed more than 24-hundred people this year and there’s been criticism of the slow international response to the epidemic.
