Officials confirm that two people on board a small plane were killed when their aircraft crashed while taking off from Peter O. Knight Airport on Davis Islands in Tampa.
They say the plane was heading to Pensacola when something went wrong on take off.
The plane caught fire and was found in several pieces by firefighters.
There was talk that another plane may have been involved but authorities have not been able to confirm that.
