A Quinnipiac University Poll released Wednesday shows what many in the Republican Party fear—Florida GOP voters are about to hand Donald Trump a sound victory in next Tuesday’s primary.
The poll has Trump garnering 45 percent of likely Republican voters, with homestate kid Marco Rubio getting just 22 percent.
That 23 percentage point lead is five more than Trump had in the last Quinnipiac survey.
In the latest Quinnipiac poll, Texas Senator Ted Cruz has 18 percent and Ohio Governor John Kasich gets 8 percent in Florida.
6 percent of Republicans are undecided.
