Trouble For 3 Allegiant Jets Out Of Orlando

ABC NEWS-   An Allegiant Air flight has made a safe emergency landing at a Tennessee airport.

Chattanooga Airport spokesman Albert Waterhouse said Allegiant Air Flight 760 landed around 8:30 a.m. Thursday after reporting an engine problem.

No injuries were reported.

Allegiant Air said in a statement that the plane has been taken out of service and will be inspected.

The statement said the flight, which was headed from Orlando, Florida, to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, had 150 passengers and six crew members.

Allegiant says a replacement aircraft will take passengers on to Iowa.

At least two other Allegiant Air flights from Orlando have made emergency landings this week.

One landed in North Dakota on Tuesday after having mechanical issues.

Another landed in Rhode Island on Wednesday after passengers reported an abnormal smell.
