(UPDATE 4:15 p.m.) Authorities now say it looks like one person shot the other two to death and then turned the gun on him or herself.
(UPDATE 1:30 p.m.) Authorities say the victims appear to have been shot to death. They are not saying whether it’s a murder, a suicide, or a murder-suicide.

Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies are at the Fairfield Inn & Suites at I-75 and Jacaranda Boulevard where three bodies were found this morning.
Officials say cleaning staff found the bodies in two different rooms.
