The Great Food Truck Fest is coming to town

On August 31, 2013, Tampa will attempt to break another World Record. This time around, a group of foodies are organizing what will hopefully be the worlds largest food truck rally at the Florida Fairgrounds.

Skypunch Entertainment founders Jeremy Gomez (of Generation Food Truck) and Michael Lynch (Truckspotting.com) have collaborated with local food blogger Carlos Hernandez (www.carloseats.com) to pull off the Great Food Truck Festival. Currently, there are 62 food trucks from all over Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee  intending to participate in this huge event. 64 food trucks are needed to break the world record.
The rally will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission will be $6 for parking, with each truck charging individually for food.
