Teen Sets House on Fire After Fight With His Mother

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Police say a Tampa teenager burned his house down after getting into a fight with his mother.

According to police, 18-year-old Aldwin Chyrstian Caceres faces first-degree arson charges after they say he poured gasoline over two couches and his mother’s bed on Sunday.

Police say the teen had argued with his mother about a cell phone.

The Tampa Tribune (http://bit.ly/HZOQ2Q ) reports no one was injured in the fire, which started early Sunday morning.

Police say the teen grabbed his mother by the wrists, pushed her onto a bed and head-butted her in the forehead twice.

Caceres was being held without bail early Monday in the Hillsborough County Jail.

He also faces domestic battery charges.

No attorney was listed on jail records.
