According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, the 15-year-old girl was hit while crossing Linebaugh Ave at 6:20 this morning just west of Hennesy Lane.
She is a student of Lecanto High School.
There are no charges expected of the driver who remained at the scene.
