A downed power line and a 500 diesel truck made it harder for fire crews to extinguish a fire at a warehouse in Wimauma.
According to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, a call came in just before 5:00 a.m. Tuesday regarding a fire at a small warehouse located at 5635 Brigman Avenue in Wimauma. Sun Turf Care, a company that specializes in lawn fertilization and insect control, owned and operated an approximately 2500 square foot warehouse and office space.
The fire department says the warehouse was fully engulfed when crews arrived and a tanker shuttle operation was established for water supply due to lack of hydrants in the area.
There were no injuries.
