According to police, the crash involves a single vehicle that veered off the road and hit a tree around 2:00 a.m. Wednesday. One person is dead as a result.
The passenger in the vehicle was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say West Shore Blvd. is closed at San Jose St. It’s expected to reopen around 7:00 a.m.
