Both directions of 22nd Street are closed between Chelsea and Emma streets while the Tampa Water Department repairs a water main leak. This leak is along same area of roadway, but is located in a different section of pipe than the leak that was repaired earlier this week.
During this time, southbound traffic on 22nd is detoured west onto Osborne Avenue; northbound traffic is detoured onto Chelsea Street. Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please use caution
when traveling in the area.
Repairs are expected to be completed by 6 p.m. tomorrow, December 12 and roadway restoration is expected by 6 p.m. Monday, December 15, weather conditions permitting.
