Tampa Fire Rescue has responded to a report of a van in the water on the north side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway.
TFR Marine units and units from other agencies including the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, U.S. Coast Guard and Tampa police department responded.
All three victims are being transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital. One victim has minor injuries and the other two are in critical condition, according to Tampa Fire Rescue.
Tampa Police officers are preparing to close the westbound lanes of the Courtney Campbell Causeway while the vehicle involved in this morning’s crash is pulled from the water. The closure is expected to last for approximately 30 minutes.
