University of South Florida police are investigating two reports of battery that took place within 20 minutes of each other.

On Nov. 4, USF police received two calls, both from women, claiming inappropriate touching. The latter came within 20 minutes of the initial call.

Police say in both cases the victims were approached from behind while walking around campus.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5’7″ wearing jeans, a shirt and a baseball cap.

Police say the incidents happened independently and in no case was the victim hurt.

The suspect fled the scene in both cases and at no time did either woman report an attempt to remove them from the area or engage in more serious activities.

As the USF police investigates these cases, they encourage anyone with information to call the USF Police Department at (813) 974-2628.
