Tampa Heights Home Suffers “Extensive Damage” To Attic

Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a house fire at 203 East Floridbraska Avenue in Tampa Heights this morning at 11:19 a.m.

Four minutes later, they arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. Smoke and flames were coming from the roof of the single-story house.

According to TFR, the homeowner, a man in his 30’s, was asleep at the time of the fire and was alerted to it by his neighbors. He got out safely.

By 11:43, power at the house was restored.

TFR says “extensive damage” was done to the attic of the home. An estimate of the damage will be released once the Fire Marshal’s Office completes their investigation.

The homeowner did not request Red Cross assistance.
