Get Your Free Ice Cream At MOSI

TAMPA, Fla. – This Sunday, July 20, 2014, is National Ice Cream Day, and for the seventh year in a row Blue Bell Ice Cream will celebrate with guests at MOSI (Museum of Science & Industry).

Sunday afternoon, anyone who attends MOSI will be treated to hand-dipped Blue Bell Ice Cream (while supplies last). Blue Bell will be serving the ice cream, included with MOSI admission, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Kids In Charge!

As guests are enjoying their ice cream, they will have an opportunity to see MOSI’s STEAMpunks demonstrate the Science of Freezing with a cryo freezing demonstration, using liquid nitrogen. It too will take place in the Kids In Charge!

The newest Blue Bell flavor, Magic Cookie Bar, will be featured at MOSI on National Ice Cream Day. It is a sweet ice cream loaded with graham cracker crust pieces, chunks of dark chocolate, roasted pecan pieces and toasted coconut, all surrounded by a caramel sauce swirl. For those who prefer something more traditional, Blue Bell’s most popular flavor, Homemade Vanilla, will also be served.

MOSI is located in at 4801 E. Fowler Ave., across from the University of South Florida. For more information call 813-987-6000 or go to www.mosi.org.
