Man Charged With DUI After Going Wrong Way

Another wrong-way driver has been arrested Sunday night in Tampa.

According to Tampa police, 25-year-old Josean Carrasquillo was arrested Sunday night at 3:13 a.m. after he was spotted a quarter mile north of the Howard Avenue exit going the wrong way on Interstate 275.

The officer who spotted Carrasquillo had to swerve to avoid a collision but was able to pull him over. Officers conducted a DUI test and determined that he was slurring his words, had red eyes and smelled of alcohol.

He blew a .165 and a .159.

Thankfully, there were no injuries sustained in the incident.
