Hillsborough County police are investigating a death at the Orient Road Jail Sunday afternoon.
According to HCSO, inmate Patrick Foster was found laying on the floor in his cell Sunday around 1:00 p.m. They say he was unresponsive.
Medical staff began medical assistance until Fire Rescue responded. Fire Rescue transported Foster to Tampa General, where he was pronounced dead.
Foster suffered from numerous medical issues and had been in the jail numerous times.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
Foster was arrested by TPD on June 4, 2015 for Trespassing.
