Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to 1407 127th Avenue East in Tampa where they found smoke and flames coming from an apartment.
Multiple HCFR units were on scene and say there were no injuries. The resident was not home at the time of the fire.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to neighboring apartments. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
