A dog is saved after a fire at a Tampa residence, Wednesday.
According to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, crews responded to a fire at 6007 Coolidge Avenue North and found smoke coming from the kitchen.
The homeowners were not home at the time. Battalion Chief Five resuced a dog, while Rescue 10 made efforts to resuscitate another dog.
The Red Cross was contacted to help the residents with their displacement. The cause of the fire was ruled accidental.
