An armed robber exchanged gunfire with a store clerk at an ABC Liquor store in Tampa yesterday. It happened at the store in the 3700 block of Hillsborough Avenue around 3 o’clock yesterday. The suspect entered the store with a handgun and ordered the two workers in the store to the ground. One of the clerks shot at the suspect and the suspect shot back hitting one of the workers who has minor injuries. The suspect fled on foot and it’s unknown if he was injured. The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black hat and sunglasses. He covered the bottom part of his face with a towel. The investigation, and search, are ongoing.
