Former MacDill AFB chief to take over GTE Financial

Scott DeThomas has traded his pilot wings for a suit, tie, and corporate finance job with GTE Financial.

A graduate of the Air Force Academy, DeThomas retired as a colonel earlier this month after serving in the Air Force Pilot for 23 years. Not only was he an Air Force pilot, but a finance officer and director of staff to the secretary of the Air Force.
