COPS Struck Gold Filming In Pasco Airs Saturday June 20th [VIDEO]

The long running TV show COPS sent a crew to Pasco County and filmed an episode that will air this Saturday at 8pm EST on Spike.

They. Struck. Gold.

An armed trespasser uses a young dog as a shield. A woman under the influence goes on a rampage, tearing into homes and people. A cat lady calls the cops when her neighbors get nosy.

Camera crews went on ride-alongs with deputies for eight weeks and taped several incidents that will be shown during the show’s 28th season. Officers were surprised at how many people wanted to be on the show…even when getting arrested. Some sang the “Bad Boys” theme song. They even signed release forms allowing the use of their video footage on the show.

This is the first time that COPS has taped in Pasco County, which has resulted in several incidents that give citizens an eye-opening view of what deputies deal with every night on the streets of the county.
