A cold front will be making its way into the Tampa Bay area Wednesday night. A freeze warning has been issued for Citrus and Hernando counties for Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Wind chills are expected to reach 15-25 degrees in the northern counties. In the immediate bay area wind chills are expected between 25 and 35 degrees.
Officials are warning people who go outside during the overnight hours to dress extremely warm and limit how much skin is exposed. Pets and plants should be brought inside.
