According to TFR, first responders saw light smoke coming from the northeast corner of the building. All occupants were evacuated.
Upon entry, firefighters found smoke coming from a pallet loaded with charcoal. Automatic sprinklers inside the store prevented the fire from spreading.
Firefighters doused the smoldering charcoal and ventilated the building. The fire was under control shortly after 9:00. No firefighters were injured. One civilian was treated at the scene and released.
Investigators from the Fire Marshal’s office are on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
