Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire at 5117 Halifax Dr in Town n Country at 9:21 pm Sunday night. Seven HCFR suppression and rescue units, Command staff, Investigations, State Fire Marshals Office and HCSO are on scene.
Upon arrival, HCFR found smoke coming from the front of the structure. One man suffered critical injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Firefighters were able to contain the flames and put them out with minimal damage. There were no injuries to personnel.
The incident is under investigation at this time. HCFR does not have any additional information on the cause of the fire or the identity of the patient.
