The public is invited to join the men and women of the Tampa Police Department as they honor the 31 officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty during the history of the Tampa Police Department. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6th, 8 p.m. at the Tampa Police Downtown Headquarters located at 411 North Franklin Street in Tampa.
Mayor Bob Buckhorn, Chief Jane Castor and the Tampa Police Memorial Committee will pay tribute to their fallen officers and their family members on May 6th with a 21-Gun Salute, Riderless Horse, Bagpipes, Taps and Flyover by the Tampa Police Aviation Unit.
