Tampa: Mail Carrier Accused Of Tax Fraud Scheme

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A Hillsborough County mail carrier is accused of trying to sell nearly $20,000 of fraudulent tax refund checks.

The Tampa Bay Times (http://bit.ly/1lACVyI ) reports 40-year-old Orville Dwight Hylton faces a charge of theft of government property after trying to sell the checks at a discount price.

A federal complaint says the checks came from the same ZIP code where Hylton delivers mail.
