Just before the Super Bowl, President Barack Obama was interviewed by NBC’s Savannah Guthrie. Over beer, he proceeds to tell Guthrie that he’s the first president since George Washington to make “booze” in the White House. Except Washington didn’t make beer in the White House, nor did he even live there. Doh! Your Wake Up Call hosts Chris Markowski and Jenna Laine discuss below:

Construction on the White House was not finished until 1800, after Washington had died. As Chris noted, the first president to live in the White House was John Adams.
