State Of FL Accidentally Releases Personal Info Of Thousands

The state of Florida is offering free credit monitoring to 13 thousand people whose personal information was inadvertently released by the Department of State.

The names were of developmentally disabled people awaiting services and also included birthdates and social security numbers, all of which can be used by identity thieves.

Just two months ago, the State of Florida accidentally released the personal information of 45 thousand voters who are in high risk jobs.
