The boil order for St. Pete Beach and Tierra Verde has been lifted.
The order was in effect since the weekend after a 16 inch pipe burst at 75th Avenue and Blind Pass Road.
Crews fixed the pipe but tests showed unsafe levels of contamination in the water.
Those bacteria levels are now back to normal.
6 thousand residents and businesses had low or no water pressure for days.
Residents were forced to buy bottled water and restaurants were forced to close.
