St. Lucie County Sheriff Asking Help To Find Robber

This morning shortly before sunrise, a man who concealed his face robbed the 7-11 storestore at Airoso Boulevard and Prima Vista Boulevard, and St. Lucie County, and St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara is asking for the public’s help to find the robber.

“The robbery took place at 6:11 a.m. at the 7-11 at 110 S.E. Prima Vista Boulevard,” Sheriff Mascara said. “The robber had a white shirt pulled over his face and threatened the store clerk with a broken bottle. The clerk gave the robber some money, and he escaped on a dark-colored bicycle.”

Deputies and Port St. Lucie police established a perimeter around the crime scene, but no one was taken into custody. Complicating matters was the large number of people in the area going to work or school.

Though there is no physical description, Sheriff Mascara is hoping someone might know the robber’s identity. Those with information are asked to call 9-1-1 in St. Lucie County.

If someone has a tip about this robbery that leads to arrest, the tipster can report the tip anonymously by contacting Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS (1-800-273-8477.) If the tip leads to arrest, the tipster can be eligible for a cash reward.
