Somber Ceremony 25 Years After UF Slayings

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) _ Five students who were slain in Gainesville 25 years ago will be remembered during a memorial service.

The Gainesville Sun reports the service at the University of Florida’s Baughman Center on Tuesday afternoon will be held in honor of the students killed by Danny Rolling in August 1990.

Rolling was arrested 10 days after the last murder, which terrorized the community as students were returning to campus.
