SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment on Friday hired Jim Heaney, a former senior Walt Disney Co. executive, as its new chief financial officer.
Heaney will oversee finance, procurement, planning and development, among other operations, at Orlando-based SeaWorld Parks.
“Jim will be a great addition to the senior leadership group at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment,” Jim Atchison, SeaWorld Parks’ president and chief executive officer, said in a prepared statement. “In addition to the significant roles he has played in managing a large and complex organization, he also brings experience in other types of travel businesses and has proven skills in leading functions outside the traditional scope of finance.”
