Scott says he is alarmed after seeing undercover video of a California Planned Parenthood official apparently talk about selling aborted fetuses to medical researchers, a practice that is banned by law.
The video has federal officials threatening to cut off taxpayer funding to the group if the allegations are true.
Governor Scott says if any Florida abortion clinics are found to be violating laws of any kind, they will be punished.
