Sarasota Woman Finds Burglar Napping On Her Couch

Burglarizing homes is apparently a labor-intensive occupation—just ask Timothy Bontrager.

A Sarasota woman awoke Saturday morning to find Bontrager sleeping on her couch.

Bontrager apparently figured he’d clean the woman out and then add insult to injury by crashing in her living room.

At least Bontrager had the decency to apologize to the woman as he left the house with her wallet, credit cards, and checks.

The 29 year old Bontrager was later arrested.

He told police he got into the Tallywood Lane house via an unlocked sliding glass door.
