Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting Tuesday morning.
According to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office say the shooting occurred at a home in the 2100 block of Ernie Shank Court before 6:00 a.m, when the suspect broke into Christopher Bane’s home.
Bane was inside the home with his 11-year-old son and that’s when he shot 22-year-old Calvin Yoder. This isn’t the first time Bane’s home has been broken into as it had been invaded recently.
Neighbors say Yoder lived nearby.
