Sanford police are investigating a shooting that injured a 17-year-old.
Officials say that about 2:10 a.m. this morning, they heard shots being fired in the area of 13th Street at Mangoustine Avenue.
The began to check the area and they found the 17-year-old at the intersection.
He was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police say a white or sliver vehicle was seen leaving the area during the shooting and that they also found another vehicle that was struck several times but the occupants were not injured.
