A woman crossing a street in St. Petersburg was hit and killed Sunday night.
According to St. Petersburg police, the pedestrian walked into the path of a Toyota Avalon driven by Dung H. Nguyen at the 3500 block of 34th Street North.
The car struck the adult female victim and knocked her onto the vehicle’s windshield and then the pavement. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nguyen was not injured.
