St. Pete Police Arrest Man In Drug Sting

Detectives with the St. Petersburg Police Department have arrested 42-year-old Dorian Pettis at his home, 4834 9th Avenue South, on several counts of drug and trafficking charges.

The detectives watched the house for several months and undercover officers bought drugs at various times. When they served a search warrant on Jan. 29, officers found drugs inside the home including powder cocaine, marijuana, ecstacy as well as trafficking amounts of morphine and hydrocodone. They also found approximately $1300 cash.

This home is on the 49th Street corridor that police are targeting for criminal activity.
