At this hour detectives with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a homicide at the Oak High Mobile Home Park located at 5480 42nd Street North.
According to the PCSO, deputies responded to an armed person call at approximately 3:00 a.m. Monday morning. They found a dead man with upper body trauma behind Lot 6. He has been identified as 37-year-old Craig Rush, who lived in Lot 2 of the park.
Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses to positively identify a suspect at this time. They say this does not appear to be a random act of violence and it appears the victim and another male had an altercation prior to deputies being contacted this morning.
They found one male subject dead. No further details are available at this time, pending positive identification.
