Cold Night Shelters Open In Pinellas

With some cold nights ahead, cold night shelters are opening in Pinellas County. Temperatures are expected to reach the 30’s in some areas of Tampa Bay.

The shelters will open between 6 and 6:30 p.m. and close at 6:00 a.m. The purpose of these shelters is to provide a hot meal at night, warm place to stay the night and a breakfast the following morning for people who may be stuck out in the weather.

Families will be placed in motels or family shelters. If you’re interested, you can call Rhonda Abbott or Cliff Smith. Rhonda Abbott: (727) 424-1355 or (727) 528-5762; Cliff Smith (727) 698-1809 or (727) 893-7627.
