St. Petersburg Police are investigating a shooting Monday morning.
The St. Petersburg Police Department says the shooting happened in the parking lot at Stinger Bar, located at 2222 49th Street South at about 12:43 a.m.
The victim, 63-year-old James Brown, was transported to Bayfront Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Detectives are currently investigating the homicide and have notified next of kin.
