SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) — A man was airlifted to a hospital following what authorities are calling a “road rage” incident on a Sarasota road.
The incident occurred Sunday night on Bee Ridge Road.
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports deputies found the man with stab wounds when they responded to a 911 call about the altercation.
Witnesses told deputies the victim was also struck by a car as the suspects fled the scene. Deputies are looking for a man and a woman who may be traveling in a faded-red early 1990s compact car.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
The condition of the victim was not released.
