Governor Rick Scott Reappoints Two to North Florida Community College District Board of Trustees
Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the reappointments of Ricky Lyons and Michael “Mike” Williams to the North Florida Community College District Board of Trustees.
Lyons, 55, of Mayo, is the Lafayette County Clerk of Court. He previously served as the president of the Florida Association of Court Clerks and the Mayo Rotary Club. Lyons received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He is reappointed for a term beginning February 11, 2014, and ending May 31, 2017.
Williams, 55, of Madison, is a financial advisor with the North Florida Finance Corporation. He has previously served on the North Florida Regional Planning Council. Williams is reappointed for a term beginning February 11, 2014, and ending May 31, 2017.
The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
