Red Tide Bloom Shows Algae Hasn’t Moved Closer To Shore

State researchers report that the red tide bloom off Florida’s coast has not moved closer to the shore. The bloom is still 10=15 miles off the coast of Pinellas County. According to the latest report, people started seeing fish dead at 16 miles out.  If the tide gets any closer it could cause economic issues for local fisherman and divers who depend on the fish and sponges.
