A cold front will move through the Bay area today, bringing with it rain and cooler temperatures.
According to Bay News 9 meteorologist Juli Marquez, the front, which will move slowly east, will likely mean rain and gusty breezes for our area.
This morning, with temperatures in the 60s, will probably be the warmest morning of the work week, Marquez said.
“The cooler air arrives tonight with low temperatures in the 50s around Tampa Bay and some 40s in our northern counties,” she said.
The cold temperatures are expected to linger for much of the week, with afternoon high temperatures reaching into the 60s through Thursday.
